Week 1: what is your understanding of digital innovation? What do you hope to learn during this course?

Digital innovation is the use of digital technology to overcome problems, increase efficiency and improve processes and customer experiences

In this module I hope to learn how to best use the skills I have and am learning in my computer science course to work to overcome problems, increase business efficiency and profitability and to improve processes and customer experiences. This is vital for me to know in life, whether I am starting my own business or working for a company, aspects of digital innovation, management and enterprise are present in all parts of life.

I hope to learn many skills and techniques such as idea generation and crititical thinking as well as many other skills that are not traditionally associated with studying computer science or engineering, such as innovating, improving user experience, project management, team/group work, business skills

Week 2: choose a frequently updated blog that you like and write about it

I enjoy the blog Gaming On Linux, a blog about the Linux family of operating systems, PC gaming and all the various topics that surround it.

I enjoy it because it provides a fantastic blend of all the news regarding Linux, Gaming, Open source software and the world of technology in general. I like the way that it doesn’t hide any technical details but at the same time does not overload on the technicalities as some other blogs I am subscribed to do.

I would categorise this blog as mostly an informative blog, covering News and current events in the world of technology, Linux and open-source.
